Monday, 31st of July 2006 (Or how to have fun with others…)

Petite journée, du moins peu de photo…. Le fait du moment, c’est la possibilité d’avoir joué à 4 à PES5 (sur PS2 évidemment…), et honnetement, c pas mal, bon, faut réussir à avoir des automatismes donc forcément au départ, ca arrive pas vraiment à allez dans le bon sens….
Today, not much, or at least not much pictures…. but the important thing of the moment is that we played at 4 at the same time on Pro evolution 5, THE soccer game on Playstation 2…. hard at the begging to play with someone else (and not against…), but really fun

Et aussi, réussi à trouver, en journée, une place en plein centre ville de metz, sans problème, incroyable… c’est vraiment la période creuse quoi….
Today, i succeed to find a place in city center without any problem.. yeap, that’s 3 sure, the city is empty, that’s probably why…..

Saturday, 30th of July 2006 (Or how to say that technology is just wonderful sometimes…)

Encore une journée sans vrai intérêt blogalistique (oui, c un nouveau mot, et alors……?)…. Ce qu’il faut comprendre, c’est que je comble les trous avec des vieilles photos quoi…
Today, another day without any blogalistic interest (Yes, this is totally a made up word and so???), this, meaning that i’m just using old pictures basically…

On commence par le Menu de « Captain America », restau à Dublin, où sont accroché au mur toutes les gloires Irlandaises qui ont pu passer par là (évidemment U2, the cranberries, Ronan Keating…), et un resto sympa,mais cher pour ce que c a mon goût…. et donc, la carte des desserts, plutot drôle…. « Nous avons tous nos faiblesses…. On doit être clair et fort dans nos choix…. » « Donc est ce que se sera un Sundae Chocolat ou un Banana Split?? »
First, the Menu in « Captain America », a restaurant in Dublin, where all the famous Irish stars are coming and leaving a guitar, a signature and so on (so, of course, u can find U2, the Cranberries, Ronan Keating…).. but it’s still expensive for what it is, even if the idea is nice….

Podge & Rodge, c’est peut être une des choses qui va me manquer le plus sans la Télévision Irlandaise maintenant, c’est comme les Guignols de l’info, du moins comme si PPD invitait des célébrités, cynique, drôle, parfait après l’épisode de Scrubs du Lundi soir….
Podge & Rodge, the two stars from RTE two, one of the best show on Irish television, I think that’s one of the thing that i will miss on my Monday nite here (and with the Scrubs episode that was aired just before The Podge & Rodge Show)….

Me manquera aussi « Rico’s », le meilleur des Fish & Chips de Dublin (ou sandwicherie, y’a débat, ca dépend du point de vue aussi…), ou on trouvait ces cadres…
I will also miss « Rico’s », the best place to have chicken sandwiches in Dublin, and in it there is those frames…

Enfin, après le « Trip » de 5 jours qu’on a fait avec 10 autres Erasmus à la fin de notre séjour (et 1500Kms plus tard aussi….), échanges de photos, chacun avec son portable (dites « Laptop » pour faire tendance….), au total, quelques 3500 clichés qd meme…..
After the « Trip », 5 days, 1500kilometers in Ireland, exchanging the 3500 pictures on all of our laptop, such a mess, but we succeed to have almost every pics :p

Saturday, 29th of July 2006 (Or how to have a remembrance day…)

Allez hop, dans l’ordre aujourd’hui….. Partie en ballade « Shopping » chez nos Suédois préférés avec Jess & Ludo, et on trouve, enfin l’étagère tant convoitée… Sur le retour, petit coup de fil à Yoda, car Jess voulait voir son nouveau chat (en fait une chatte), son nom « officiel », c’est « Blue Lagoon », son surnom « Ptite mère »….
So today, going to Ikea to find my drawer, that fit just perfectly actually, but we’ll see that later… on the way back, Jess wants to see the new cat from Yod, her name is « blue lagoon », at least the official one, but we call her « Ptite mère » (Lil Mum)….

Le temps de prendre un pti goûter et direction Nancy pour voir le nouvel appart’ de mon Grand père, qui passe d’une demeure « familiale » près de Blamont (Moselle), pour un appart’ près du Kinépolis de Nancy…. Ca fait drôle de voir les meubles de leur ancienne maison là, en fait, une des maisons de mon enfance quoi… C drôle… faudra s’y faire, il n’y aura plus de « vraies » réunion de famille à Domèvre Sur Vezouze.. plus de nouvel an à 25 personnes.. une page se tourne, fallait que ca arrive…. *Soupir*….. Leur appart est vraiment bien, et là vue donne sur les petits jeux d’eau et le port de plaisance, tranquilou!!!!
Time just to have a break and going to nancy, 50Kms away, to see where my Grand father as his new flat. they left the big house they had an hour and a half away from Metz, to but a new flat, really cool.. But one of the houses of my childhood is gone, and no more New Year’s Eve with all the family together (which is around 25 people u know…..)… In the new flat, we can see some nice water playground

Lorsqu’ils sont venus qqes semaines auparavant, J&L se sont justement arretés à leur ancienne maison pour couper une fleur pour leur ramener, quelle bonne idée, et ils ne peuvent se resigner à la jeter, donc elle va secher tranquillement
When they came some weeks before Jess & Ludo came with a flower of the old house for my grand father, nice gesture

Bon, tout est pas encore fait autour de l’appart, problème entre la mairie et l’entrepreneur.. mais l’intérieur est vraiment sympa
Well, everything is not finished, problems between the mayor and the firms….

Le soir, on a oublié de récupéré la boite à musique pour le futur bébé à Nancy, du coup, le seul qu’on a à la maison, c’est notre vieil hiboux, au moins 25 ans minimum le bestiaux…. impressionnant
We had forgotten to take back the music device for the futur baby, so the only one we can find is this old bird, 25 years old the lil one.. impressive….

Enfin le soir, pendant que quasiment toute la famille se détend devant Lost saison 2 (l’épisode où Shannon se fait tirer dessus par Anna-Lucia), je monte ma ptite étagère.. ca le fait non??? et y’a encore qqes changements de prévu dans la chambre, mais se sera pour plus tard….
Then at nite, almost all the family is looking at Lost season 2 (the episode where Shannon is shot by Anna-Lucia), i’m working on the drawer, and it’s fitting quiet well actually but I still have some things to change in the bedroom, but that’s for an other time….

Friday, 28th of July 2006 (Or how to go looking for the lost drawer)

Journée où on se rend compte qu’il ne reste qu’une quarantaine de cartons à défaire dans la maison, mais tellement de choses à monter/fabriquer que ça risque encore de prendre un tout petit peu de temps… mais on trouve déjà Wilson dans l’entrée…
Today, we’ve just counted that only 40 boxes were left in the house… this is progressively getting better that’s for sure.. but there is still so much to do…

Ensuite envie de trouver encore un tout petit peu plus de place dans la chambre et l’envie d’avoir de quoi entreposer encore plus de choses donc je demande si il n’y a pas une étagère qui traînerait (on sait jamais).. le temps qu’on me dise, « euhhhh… ».. au final, il faut « juste » que l’étagère en question fasse moins de 55 cm, ce qui forcément limite pas mal qd meme…. et du coup, je file avec Jess et les parents dans des magasins pour chercher qqe chose qui conviendrait… :p et avant de partir, Ludo montre les vetements qu’ils ont trouvé chez notre grand mère, plutot sympa pour aller skier!!!
Then, to find just a lil more space in my bedroom, i started wanted to put a drawer between the two doors.. but it has to be only 55cm wide…. So I start asking, but it seems not, so almost all the family is going to search a specific drawer… and before going, the future father show us the clothes they found in our grandma’s, nice for skiing!!!

En fait, l’étagère, c’est pour aller là…. entre les 2 portes, oui oui
The drawer, at the end, should go there, between the 2 doors….

Enfin, le soir, je me remets dans la série « Alias »… J’avais continué à regardé sur les conseils de Ludo & Jess, bon, ben ouais, c sympa, mais y’a pas trop de « liant » entre les saisons en fait, je pense que c cela qui me dérange le plus…
Then i begin again looking the serie « alias », season 3.. well, i clearly kept looking at it because Jess & Ludo told me so, it’s not bad, it’s just not really my type of show i think.. strange….
