Ok… We all now that this is not a « Blog » per say… more a photolog… or something like that.. I’m not a writer, we can all agree on that can’t we?? So here we are.. it all started with my camera phone (and a crappy one…), then a Canon Compact.. and for something like 9 months now I have this Nikon D40 camera… and I’m just soooo happy with it… And u can easily tell by how many pictures I’m actually taking…. ok…. The First picture I took was this one… on the 7th of June 2007, in Luxembourg, because I bought it at lunch time in a kinda wall mart in Luxembourg City…. This was a pointless picture, but I didn’t thought that was the beginning of a passion that is now really worth taking time to make it grow in my own small point of view.. It’s in fact the little mascotte I had over one of my screens at the Luxemburgish Studio….
On sera tous d’accord pour dire à quel point ceci n’est pas un « blog » en tant que telle, plus un photolog qu’autre chose.. Je ne suis pas un écrivain, clairement vu mon Français lamentable…. Tout à commencé avec l’appareil photo de mon telephone portable qd je fût expatrié en angleterre et Irlande, apres cela, un compact est venu faire passer la qualité des photos de « timbre postes digne des premiers APN 800 000 pixels » à « potable »… et enfin, ce boitier Nikon D40 qui fait bonheur depuis le 7 juin 2007…. achat au luxembourg, entre midi, parce que moins chèros et vraiment envie de découvrir ce nouveau média… et donc, inévitablement en revenant, la 1ere photo de ce boitier.. vraiment sans intéret particulier a part montrer les petites mascottes que j’avais sur un de mes moniteurs qd j’étais au studio Luxembourgeois…
Now even more interesting, is the 2nd picture just under this little text…? why?? because it was my 1K picture with this « daddy camera » (versus the compact one)… It’s a cat of a friend… that I took… on the 11th of August… yeap.. dat’s right… 65 days later… mathematically, it means 153,8 pictures a day… yeah… I know it sounds awfully a lot.. but trust me.. it’s not.. I was discovering deeply a new media for me, and it was pretty much understanding the technical and mecanical process behind it to try to improve my « artistic » sides afterwards… but I know this sounds A LOT….
Encore plus intéressante est cette 2eme photo…. Pkoi??? parce que c ma 10,000ème avec ce boitier.. avec la « papa caméra » comme il m’arrive de l’appeler maintenant (en comparaison du bébé compact)… C le chat d’une amie, que j’ai pris sur « peloche » le 11 aout de la même année… ouais… exactement… 65 jours depuis l’achat, ce qui nous donne mathématiquement une moyenne de 153,8 photos par jour… Ouiiii, cela parait énorme, mais au fond, croyez moi, ce n’est pas vraiment le cas, je découvre un nouveau média, et avec celui ci tout le coté technique et mécanique de la prise de vue photographique, qui me permettra par la suite de ne m’occuper que du coté « artistique » de la chose… Mais je suis bien conscient qu’on a l’impression que je suis un dingue de prendre tant de photos….
And to actually prove my point, here is the 2K pictures my camera took, me.. blurred (yes, wasn’t behind the camera, kinda obvious.. last saturday, during the Seesmeetup….)…. meaning on the 15th of March…. Meaning it took me 217 days to make 10,000 pictures, I know it seems a lot, especially meaning an average of 46,08 pictures a day.. but well… it means i’ve improved technically and now focusing even more on the artistic sides of the pictures.. but I know.. it’s a lot.. I do apologise.. But i just love this sooo much….
Et pr bien appuyer ma théorie susnommée (en tout bien tout honneur), voilà là 20,000ème photo qu’a pris mon appareil… (oui, c moi, du coup on est d’accord pr dire que si elle est floue, c pas ma faute, vu que c pas moi derriere l’appareil pr une fois…)… et celle ci fût prise le 15 mars pendant le Seesmeetup… Equivalent ainsi à 217 jours pr refaire 10,000 photos, soit 46,08 en moyenne par jour.. mais bon… je fais bcp moins de test et du coup…. voilà quoi.. mais je suis désolé de prendre autant de clichés croyez moi :p
So to finish this small funny thing.. it means that i’m averagely taking 70pictures a day…. I try to take less, I swear.. but u know how I am… ^^
Dc ca veut dire que depuis que je l’ai, c une moyenne de 70 clichés par jour… je vous jure que j’essaye de me limiter.. mais bon.. vous me connaissez… ^^
