It’s not a goal at all in my life. I have milestones or achievements I think that are/will be way more important than this one. Half a million views on Flickr. The statistic is not perfect, doesn’t count the direct link to the images, or for examples everytime one is displayed on this blog… it’s still quiet something nonetheless. Am I happy about it? sure I am!! I don’t consider myself as a photographer, it’s just a hobby, a way to keep some photographic memories of what was my life at some point was, of what i’ve lived and experienced, who I am. True it’s been 2 years that I now always have my camera with me, didn’t thought it’ll last that long, but now it’s just « me » to have always a way to keep some images of the night, evening, dinner, party, concert, drink, event i’ve been to…

So here we are, 50 images randomly chosen via Flickr River. I’m not the kind of guy that succed in looking at his work on a global scale, being able to judge what’s really good or not.. even if my pictures are good. Don’t get me wring… I like them, I love them, even!!!  For the memories they are bringing. I’m a self made man photographicaly wise, I’ve learned by shooting, I’m developping them « as i feel it ». Which will sometimes bring some good feedback « we honestly don’t fu**in care about the burnt hairs ». someone once commented on a picture…. And he was actually right, learning, growing, changing….

I’ve been to a lot of a concert this year, this might help. When i’m in couleur café (like for Bénabar), in front of thousands of people, there’s mathematically more chance when they google it to arrive on my Flickr… But well. I’ve got some positif feedback, people that like my « Art » (it’s supposed to be Art, but well, not my real idea of Art… my vision of things maybe, even for those words I kinda disagree…) comment and make me sometimes interpret a photo where I was just happy of the graphical result of it. It’s maybe what I like the most actually, just being able to spread with the other people that were there the memories.

Because time is really flying by (I know, it’s common sense, but well.. it’s like so true you know…). It will be 2 years since I arrived in Brussels very soon. 2 years.. wow.. who would have thought? And that where I realise that I used to blog for a stream life… when I left England to move to Ireland, I thought I had so many things to spare with the person I was crossing that I started blogging.. and when I looked at my first entries 3 years ago.. wow…

Gosh 3 years seems a while ago, and so many stuff happend. I used to blog daily, ’cause in a foreign country, especially one that you love, you always got something to tell, that someone didn’t get your accent, that when one of your roomie name Brian and that another roomie ask « Hey vince, Where’s brian? » you smile and laugh on ur side while answering « brian is in the kitchen » (only french can get this i’m guessing), or the nite out you got at the Ball, or at Bob’s in Temple bar (gosh what a nite to remember), how I started working in luxembourg and so on. Those are memories I’ll cherish, because they made me who I am, a French with an irish harp in the heart, surrounded by english habits, and now leaving in the country of the French fries… How European of me

Now the question remains, if Flickr is a way just to keep track of what i’ve done, will I be happy to share that with my loved one when the times come, will my kids/grand kids will one day have access to « I saw grandpa’ vince when he was young.. he made some stuff OMG…. » ahah.. I don’t have the answer to that… A little reverse engineering tho to prove my point.. would i be happy to have those kind of « lifestream » on my parents, see them young and doing loads of stuff.. true it was another time, and I love them how they are, but the thought is kinda fun… and I don’t know if I’d look at it

On the other hand, it is true that I never put personal stuff, no one can read if i’m still a bachelor, if I met someone, if I’m happy about my life (that is actually not true, there’s really 3 depressing posts in here), but you get the point. I’m just trying to share a moment of my life, to those who are concerned and to those i randomly met who that googled « around the world in 50 years 3D« , I’m happy about the 30ish people who are on my RSS, I mean I probably know them, and i’m not « trying to have a stat issue » like some might have on twitter (where they are all running for followers… what a shame…).

Way more people come to my Flickr account than in here, it’s more than fine with me. Fun to see how people came to Flickr on the other hand, usually googling, and sometimes misssing the point. One of the popular request that point out to one of my album is « metal concert »… well.. i’m not really a steeler guy (or am I… those who know for which US NFL team I am would have smiled here), i’m more pop rock.. and it’s pointing to the « eagles of death metal concert », that was one impressive gig, but well.. not really metal…

You’ve got the classical « butterfly coldplay lovers in japan » that is not getting to the day i saw this astonshing and heart warming concert, but to a cliché of one of those butterflies we brought back and taken months afterwards. « gloria devil may cry » is also one that get me a dozen weekly, as the « franz ferdinand live » (i’m happy about this set so that’s cool). My most viewed cliché is off course a bad one.. but well, a fan forum is bringing a lot of people to it, whereas clichés i’m really proud of are barely seen. It’s ok actually, those are the little treasure i’ll just keep for me.

Half a million. It’s a lot some might say, the most important is that i can carry a little bit of dream sometimes, and people thanking me for such or such clichés. Verba Volant, scripta manent. It also works with the photos

In my Ears : Gary Go -open arms- ♫« you’ve got to look myself in the eye, and say it’s gonna be alright…« ♫

Of course i’m not objective on this one. They are irish, they are talented, they have published my pictures from their brussels gig on their official website, and i’m having a photo pass for their concert in Luxembourg Tonite. After driving their through the nite (4 til 6.30 am yup, after a very nice evening in Liège in belgium actually), wandering around the city during the day, it was time to reach « Den Atelier », the venue of Tonite, and prepare for what would once again be a very nice moment.

Went there with 3 friends, that didn’t saw the gig in Brussels I saw. « How are they live? » would ask one « honestly? a lot of fun, energy, passionnate by what they are doing and singing, why do ya think i’m here once again ^^ « . And that would sum up perfectly the mood of the nite. Support Act was SpLeeN, a luxemburgish act. Nice, not as was Gary Go though (once again twas one of the best support act i’ve seen so well). But let’s move on to the St James Street Natives we all want to see. This time, i’ll be ready to shoot Glen (the drummer), because on stage, the drums are on the right and not « as used to » on the dead center back of the stage, so i barely saw him the first time, a shame considering that he’s a good drummer!

Fade to black, crowd (not sold out though   ) screams, Glen is coming on Stage and style in the dark starts the show, Mark (guitar is coming as well), obviously when Danny (lead singer) arrives, I lost my right ear once again ahah, but damn this feels good to have a crowd that responsive! The piano of « before the worst » starts all.. and then i became an Irish again… I remember why this country changed me, changed my life, and still haunts me from time to time, the exact place where I change to fall from teen to a man that will handle is life. Remembering the spire, the pubs, the people I met, and it feels damn good. And Grafton street, sweet grafton street with his BK, HMV and so on … *dream face*(tickle me everytime i look at the movie « once » as well don’t worry).

« Talk you down » gives a little bit uptempo (love the drums on this one), the voice of the singer seems more calm than in Brussels even if they were tired : (you should hear the cute irish accent) « Man, we litterally just came out of the plane, we’re like so exhausted… and we’re surprised, we were expecting like ten people here ya’ know » *crowd shouting* then the guitar of « Break even » splits the venue in a nice mood, and the crowd -young yes, but nonetheless- jumping, claping and singing. <3 those moments, the exact reason why i like concert, why i like photography concert, ’cause in those kind of moments, we see how good people can be, how they can be passionnate and be there for stuff that others can not understand.

« The end where i begin » will remember us how much his voice can go high pitch (there we can see a little bit of pushing for the high notes but no biggie), and will just be the opening for « This is the reason why we are here, it’s called We Cry ». And yes, it’s good for radio, but the lyrics are just so much more. Talking about James Street, the neighborhood where the Guinness brewery is. When i used to live in dublin, i was south side, next to Rathmines in the Griffith College (17 2B, the number of the flat, numbers that will always be with me), where as James Street is more north compared to where i was. How i remember walking in this city, loving it, so many nationalities, accent in the language, attitude even under the influence of booze, ahah, i’m back there just with a song

« If u c kay », « fall for anything » and « man who can’t be moved » seal the deal… This is some artist we’re having in this small venue, and everyone is loving every single note coming from those leprechauns « rusty halo » with his hip hop accent and rythm (the bass ahhhhh) will close the flow of this very tight main set. They will be back with 2 awesome encore « i’m yours » and « we can be heroes ». Security tried to pull me out around this time (they’re just doing they’re job, i agree… nonetheless… keep your head on ur shoulder will you?), and once they cleared the fact that i had a photo pass and everyone was ok for me to take picture, i was able to come back in the place, of course behind and way too far to take the slightest good clichés grrrrr :/

The time to come out, happy once again of a fairly consistent set (i’m now willing to hear some new songs, dunno what we can expect actually). Big up for the « i’m yours » intro when Danny explains « this song has been wrote after a nite we had a lot of wine… we’ve all been there you know what i mean » ahah when i think about it and this song is just *sigh*

Eveyrone loved it as usual, i took the time to bought buttons (yeah, i’m like that, even with a photo pass i got to get something, just like that when i love the concert i saw.. might sounds stupid, but don’t feel ashamed at all to show artists i like how much we like them) that i will offer to my friends that were there time to hit back the road after 40 hours, 3 countries and a memory full of nice moments. But before, i’ll wait for them to come out, just to take some clichés out of stage, to show how much they actually are human you know, they are loving what they’re doing, they’ll thank everyone that stayed an hour after the end to see them, they’ll sign, take pictures, smile, talk.

Gave a moo card to Glen and to Danny « do you want me to sign it or are you giving it to me » they will both say actually « don’t really know, the thing is that i don’t have anything to make you sign, but once again, impressive gig, thanks a lot ». Danny to wrote « to vince then right » when i said i was the photographer from the brussels gig.. But i suspect he just remembered from the card with my name on it I just gave him hehe I truly and sincerely hope to be able to see them again, even if they are touring in some festival this summer, but on dates that i’m already booked by other artists elsewhere (eg  while i’ll shoot peaches in july :/ ). Farewell in the meantime, and once again, thanks to Mark who saw the pics from brussels, Tom who contacted me to put them on the site and gave me with Quinner a photo pass

Exhausted, but worth it every second of the way. Now having red bull instead of blood in my veins… Slainte!

In my ears : Snow Patrol -Chasing Cars- « If I lay Here/ If I just Lay Here/ Woud you lie with me/ And just forget the world? »

 Allez hop, très simple et très efficace… Depuis le moment que je tiens ce blog… (plus de 3 ans 1/2 pr mon 1er blog, 2 1/2 pour « lost in dublin ») la codification a changé, mais l’idée directrice est globalement la même… Qu’est ce que peut bien représenter les chiffres que j’ai toujours mis dans mes titres? Je vous pose la question, on en reparle Lundi prochain? lâchez vous donc, l’idée est plutôt simple au fond… suffit juste de le savoir ^^  Depuis 6 mois maintenant, le format est #XXXX = N° 4 Digits… rien à gagner, juste que les gens sachent enfin ceux que ces chiffres veulent dire pour les « nouveaux arrivants » qui n’ont pas vu le lointain post où je l’expliquais ^^
It’s going to be quick and clear…. it’s been more than 2years and half now that i’m taking care of this blog, 3 years and a half since my first one.. And I’ve always « marked » them in different ways over the time… Nowdays, it’s something like #XXXX = N° 4 digits. The question is why? what does it mean? i’m just wondering if really many people knows… because I’ve explained it a while ago.. so i’m just wondering.. what do you think it means? Et voilà, encore un concert, cette fois-ci, les Dropkick Murphys, groupe de punk-rock celtique, bien connu des hautes terres irlandaises, un peu moi sur le reste du continent, sauf depuis que l’un de leur morceau fût repris dans « Les Infiltrés » de Scorcese… Le concert à l’Ancienne Belgique à Bruxelles était complet, mais je ne pouvait pas les louper, envie de m’exploser la voix, de sauter un peu partout, et surtout de me remémorer pourquoi ce groupe fût un des déclencheurs de mes pérégrinations en Angleterre et Irlande…
And so another live concert.. this time? the Dropkick Murphys, celtic punk-rock band, kinda known in all the irish lands, far less on the continent I have to confess, maybe except since the time Scorcese put one of their track into « The departed »…. The Ancienne Belgique gig was sold out (took the tix too late ), but I couldn’t miss them, wanna shout, wanna jump a little bit, need to jump a little but, but more than that, finally seeing live one of the reasons why I wanted to discover England and Ireland…

Première fois que je viens à « Den Atelier » (en luxembourgeois dans le texte), petite salle s’il en est, mais quand même, concert Sold Out, pris la route direct après la fin de la semaine au Studio, et direction la salle… bouchons etc… mais j’arrive à la fin de la pré 1ère partie… et me rends compte que la configuration de la salle est assez étouffante en soi, carrée, avec un balcon imposant mais pratique, je dis pas….
First time at « Den Atelier » (Luxemburgish style), small place, sold out concert, was on my way 2minutes after the end of the week at the studio… I’m just arriving at the end of the Pre-support act… and I realise how akward the configuration of the room is, square, with a huge balcony.. eventhough it seems handy.. wow…

Il faut vraiment savoir à quoi l’on va s’attendre en allant regarder un tel concert, moi, je me doutais, mais je ne savais pas… Les Dropkick, c’est en fait un tour quasi permanent, ils enchainent les dates, inlassablement, vraiment souvent sur les routes, européennes ou Americaines, un concert tous les jours ou tous les 2 jours… quand même… respect ^^ Cela forcément amène un concert rondement mené, mais il faut surtout garder à l’esprit que les gens connaissent les Murphys, en ressort forcément des habitudes, la démonstration la plus simple étant celle là (pas d’image, car salle dans le noir, mais imaginez un peu à la vu du son… ^^)
We really need to know what we’re going to live… I was expecting some, but didn’t realised that much.. The Dropkick, it’s almost a never ending tour, going all over Europe and the US with a gig every day or two… respect!! ^^ Of course it means the gig is perfectly worked through, but it also brings habit in the crowd… the easiest one is just this one : (no image ’cause the place was in the dark, but just imagine just by listening to the crowd ^^)

La 1ère partie était pas mal… mais c’est là que… je m’aperçois que le « pogo », c’est une philosophie que je n’ai pas… étrange et bizarre… sans aucun rapport avec la musique, ca ou autre chose, les djeuns pogotent, limite en train de volontairement se donner des coups de coudes… allez comprendre.. il faut que jeunesse se passe, mais là, je n’ai jamais vraiment capté le coté pragmatique de la chose ^^
The support act was ok.. can’t even remember the name actually… and the young who started to jump on each other and throw them at each other.. I never quiet understood that attitude… but maybe because I’m already « old school » for them.. who knows…

Et on partait pour 90 minutes de furie, de chants repris, de thèmes connus, mais aussi d’ambiance festive comme rarement j’en avais connu, alors oui, j’avoue que le son n’était pas non plus extra (a base de trop fort pr pas assez de différenciation entre les instruments), mais quand même, le charisme du groupe (parce que pour le coup, c’est vraiment un groupe!), l’effet rouleau compresseur qu’on se prends dans la figure, la volonté de se dire que oui, tous ses airs m’ont marqués pour la plupart, et le fait de pouvoir l’entonner avec un petit millier de personne c’est juste euphorisant….
And here we were going for 90 minutes of fury, songs that the crowd sang, and a festive mood in the whole room, like I rarely saw (well, the sound wasn’t so great, loud and without real differences between all of the instruments.. iiikkkk), but nonetheless, the charisma of the group (cause that is just defnitely a group, no point arguing), ur just slapped at every song by the energy going on, and the memories of how and why some of those themes moved me, and singing them with a thousand people is just astonishingly exhilarating…

Le groupe est, dans sa configuration actuelle, composée de 2 chanteurs, l’un est là depuis le début, Ken Casey, fondateur du groupe, presque l’âme à lui tout seul, bien moins demonstratif que le 2eme, Al Barr, qui est là depuis qd même un bout de temps aussi. Ken Casey, un gaucher à la guitare (première fois que je vois cela d’ailleurs), qui prends du plaisir avec son groupe, avec le public, rigole, parle peu mais suffisament pour enflammer à chaque fois la salle
The group is, on his actual configuration, composed of 2 singers, One is here since the beginning, Ken Casey, Founder of the group, almost the spirit of the whole on hiw own, even if less showman than the 2nd, Al Barr, who’s actually also here for a while now. Ken Casey a lefty guitarist (First time I saw that), that takes pleasure speaking to the crow, the public, laugh, talk not that much to the audience but enough to make everyone rumble when he does.

Ils reprendront aussi des titres classique du répertoire celtique/irlandais, dont « the wild rover », chanson de pub par excellence, et là, un public qui répond présent, s’arrache les poumons pour le couplet, c’est juste incroyable, ca fait énormément plaisir, encore et toujours ce public incroyable du nord de la France… Je ne m’en lasse pas ^^
They will also go into classical celtic/irish songs, like « the wild rover », the awesomest pub’s song.. and here the audience is there, shouting as hell for the chorus.. Still and always amazed by this audience from the North of France, definitely one of the best I’ve known.

Ils sont américains, de Boston, et ils enchaineront plusieurs de leurs titres phares, jusqu’a même, à la fin du 1er acte, faire monter toutes les demoiselles sur scène, elles forcément, hystériques, mais respectueuse du groupe, chantant, bougeant comme un choeur presque. A la fin du concert, ils feront monter les mecs, et là, c’est vraiment plus le chaos, ca se pousse, ca essaye d’attrapper le chanteur par l’épaule etc… wow les mecs!!! mais bon, ainsi la nature est faites… :-#
They’re american, from Boston, and they also played all of their best hits, until the end of the 1st act, where they made all the ladies go on stage… of course it was just awesome, but with respect, just singing loud and dancing.. not like at the end of the show where they let the boys go, and it was just horrible… trying to grab the singer on the shoulder etc…. wow dudes!

Je sortais de là, heureux d’avoir vu ce groupe, dont j’avais entendu parlé bien avant de mettre un pied en Irlande, la 1ere fois, c’était l’ami d’une collègue stagiaire à l’ambassade de France lors d’une soirée, je lui dis que j’allais aller en Irlande, et il me dit que d’où il vient, Boston, y’a un bon groupe que je pourrais aimer du nom des Dropkick Murphys.. allez comprendre… c’était y’a… plus de 3 ans… la vie est bien faites par moment, car j’avais besoin de cette piqure de rappel de mon passé pour commencer et enclencher les changements que je désirais depuis longtemps….
I left there happy for having saw this group, that I heard about way before putting a foot in Ireland. the 1st time, it was a friend of a intern collegue at the French embassy, told me I was going down there, and he told me that in his town, Boston, there was a group I could like, the Dropkcik Murphys.. life’s starnge sometimes.. and it was.. more than 3 years ago… I need this shot from my past to move on, and start the changes and decisions I wanted to make for a while now…

Je passe outre le fait que je me trouvais sur le chemin du Backstage, high fivant certains des membres (Al barr & le Bassiste notamment), juste par pure plaisir, eux le sourire aux lèvres autant que moi, une energie postive, communicative, difficilement descriptible, un bon coup de pied, je demandais que cela…
Just to finish by having High Fived some of the guys because I was on the way to the Backstage (Al Barr & the bassist amongst others), just to say, pure pleasure, them smiling as much as I was, a positiv energy, communicative too, hard to describe, but hell yeah exactly what I needed….

Petit résumé d’un week end Bruxellois… J’ose effectivement bien montrer que je suis là (pr le samedi et le dimanche du moins) sur Bruxelles… Parce que ces dernières semaines, ce n’est pas monnaie courante… Prise de conscience relative à certains évenements, samedi renouveau… samedi course… « healthy course », samedi « ca ressemble à quoi un légume déjà? », samedi « hhhaaannn.. un gateau noix de pécan, celui là même qui m’a donné gout à la culture anglo-saxonne.. je craque… juste pour retomber un peu dans ma prime jeunesse…. » C’était que le début d’un week end bien différent des autres…
Little sum up of a Week end in Brussels… yeah… seems weird because it’s actually the city I’m livin in.. I know.. but I was here the whole weekend (well.. at least for Saturday & Sunday, does Friday nite counts as « the Weekend »?). Realising some stuffs, saturday reborn, saturday groceries, saturday « healthy dishes », saturday « R u really sure that’s what a veggie look like? », and a nice pecan pie, the one that, in my pre-teen years, made me discover and luv the english speaking culture…. And that was just the beginning of a different couple of days…

En effet, concert vendredi soir (oui, eeeennncore…je sais… donc cela amène encore des photos floues et sans sens fort pour qui n’y étais pas…. on va dire que c’est de l’Art hein…) pas sur Bruxelles (mais bientot le compte rendu… don’t worry…). Toujours est il que du coup, je me retrouvais le samedi et le Dimanche sur Bruxelles, ma ville depuis maintenant (Vince se mets à compter sur ses doigts…. 6 mois… et ouais… presque jour pour jour… 1. Que ca passe vite. 2. Wow encore un semestre en plus en tant qu’expat, je vais perdre l’habitude d’être Français à force…. :p).. Samedi rangement de l’appart, inventaire de certaines affaires, classement de papiers (oui, ce n’est pas un rêve, c’est vraiment ce que j’ai fait… mauvaises langues!), et un coup de fil de Macadam disant « tiens dis voir Vince, pour une fois que tu es là, je me disais, je te mettrais bien ta râclée à Mario Kart Wii ce soir…  » moi « euhhh bien sûr… » Aussitôt raccroché, la course à rendre le salon présentable (bien qu’au fond, ce sont des Hommes, de facto insensible à ce genre de détails.. tant que y’a a boire et un truc à faire/Regarder). Donc nous voilà devant Mario Kart Wii, jeu dont la sortie était le jour précedent, incluant le petit volant qui nous parait au départ inutile, et puis bien fun qd même.. avouons le….
Indeed, live concert on friday nite (will post ’bout that soon…) not in Brussels tough… But all of a sudden, I was in here on a saturday and a sunday, in what is my town for 6 months now… OMG days are flying.. and it means it’s another semester abroad… I might soon loose the habit to say and act like a French han han han (French laugh). Then a friend called, and said that he wanted to try Mario Kart Wii, Game that came out the previous day….

Mario Kart Wii, c’est une nouvelle mouture donc, amenant une pointe d’excitation à la pensée de pouvoir jouer à Mario Kart, et après quelques courses, c’est pareil, mais différent.. D’une part, des motos sont accessibles… ce qui apporte un angle différent aux courses (oui, passer la ligne premier en faisant un wheeling sur la roue arrière est une classe digne d’un Snake Plissken ou d’un George Clooney dans Urgences…). A tester sur le long terme cela dit… Ce qui manque aussi, c’est la possibilité de faire sauter le kart, pour préparer un dérapage dans un virage ou essayer de semer une carapace rouge… on s’y fera, mais c’est fort dommage…
So Mario Kart Wii is the new version of the famous racing game, meaning loads of excitement just by thiking about the fact that we could have hours of fun… But everything is quiet the same, with some changes, the first one is the fact that now there are bikes!!! how cool is that to be able to finish the race with a wheeling??? but on the other hand, we can’t jump on our own anymore, can’t prepare a turn by jumping, the same to avoid the red turtles shells…. it’s a shame…

Enfin, une magnifique fin de journée, le début d’un nouveau cycle au bout d’un semestre ici… Petite refonte personnelle plein de sens, qui amènera probablement de bonnes choses à terme, des envies qui revienne, une volonté forte et omniprésente, oui, on se motive seul dans son coin et on espere refaire le monde, son monde…
In the end, a wonderful day, sunny, shiny, good mood, the start of a new cycle after just a semester in here… Little personnal changes, full of meaning, that might bring nice things at long term, envies are coming back, a strong will is here, so yes, being motivated just by myself, hoping to change the world, my world…

C’est avant tout un besoin, une necessité, poser de nouvelles bases, saines, pour continuer à grandir, apprendre, évoluer, changer… Pour une fois cette fin de post est juste un peu sérieuse.. bizarrement je me rappelle les quelques posts ou je parlais sérieusement, probablement plus qu’à moi qu’autre chose en l’écrivant (l’intérêt de ne pas développer minutieusement sur la chose, c’est que tout le monde y comprends ce qu’il veut, soit quasi rien en fait), et là dernière fois, c’était vraiment pas la joie… Ici ca va, juste encore une fois la possibilité m’ait offerte de changer, d’essayer de changer, alors pourquoi pas tenter après tout… On a qu’une vie, prenons soin d’elle, car la vie mérite d’être vécue, même si elle inclut des moments (très) difficile, au fond, l’on sublimera toujours cela pour ne se remémorer que les bons souvenirs…
It’s a need, more than that something I deeply want that, having healthy basis, keep growing, moving, learning, evolving, changing… For once it’s a serious post.. I can without any problem say when was the last time I had such questions (even if, without all the details, no one can really understand, but it’s probably better that way….)

On verra très rapidement le résultat de toute façon, donc même si c’est difficilement perceptible, il sera là, et petit à petit, sera de plus en plus flagrant, jusqu’a devenir « la norme », et une bonne norme accesoirement… Keep smiling, whatever it takes.

Ma vie est basé sur des boissons hyper saine…. Coca Cola, Coca Vanille, Guinness, et le Red Bull… Cette puissante boisson basé sur un mélange d’acides aminés divers, de taurine, et de Caféïne, qui sur moi, me permet souvent il est vrai de tenir le coup lors de soirée plus longue que prévu ou du style…

Et donc, la grande nouvelle de la journée, c’est que le Red Bull est, parait il, commercialisé en France, ou ne vas pas tarder de l’etre… Bon.. d’accord.. Le produit arrive bien après tout le monde en Europe et dans le Reste du monde… Mais si on tordait le coup à une légende Urbaine? D’où vient le Red Bull? D’autriche!!! Il faut le savoir, mais bon, le plus important, est surtout de comprendre pourquoi cette boisson aux effets « revigorant » n’était jusque ici pas la bienvenue sur notre territoire… Alors, non, cela n’a rien avoir avec la « Taurine », un des composants, qui selon la légende populaire viendrait des organes reproducteurs de Taureaux!! La taurine est effectivement en rapport avec le Taureau, mais parce que cet acide aminé à d’abord été découvert dans la Bile de Taureau, lui donnant son nom (NH₂-CH₂-CH₂-SO₃H en est la formule chimique, cela peut toujours servir dans une conversation…)… Donc non, point la faute de la Taurine dans la non commercialisation du Red Bull en France, mais la… [Roulement de tambour] Caféine…!!! et oui, ce qu’on peut trouver sans aucun probleme dans tous les petits noirs de tous les Bistrots Français est la cause de cette non commercialisation, car le taux de Caféine présent dans une canette dépasse simplement la limite Légale pour ne pas rentrer dans la catégorie médicamenteuse, en d’autres termes, trop de caféine = un médicament = ordonnance nécessaire pour en acheter.. D’où me problème évident!!!!
And so, the great news today, is that I’ve heard that Red Bull si coming in France, or is soon going to be..Well.. OK.. Gotta admit that it’s arriving wayyyy later than every other country.. But there’s actually a real reason for that… here’s a quick History of it… Red Bull is coming from Austria (who knew), but that doesn’t explain why it’s not for sale in France. To squeeze the Urban Legend surrounding the « Taurin », one of the amino acid present in the product, no, it’s not coming from the genitals of a Bull… but the name clearly indicates a link with a Bull, it’s simply because it has been discovered in a Bull Bile for the first time… So why wasn’t it for sale? the cause if even simpler than that, just coffeine.. simple coffeine that we can all have in some coffe in a bar or at home.. the percentage of coffeine in a can of Red Bull is simply too high for the French law, meaning at that height, it becomes a medicine, not allowing to sale it in a supermarket….. (and NH₂-CH₂-CH₂-SO₃H is the chemical formula of Taurin, just so u know, might be handy some day)

Et donc aujourd’hui croisé dans Paris une »Red Bull car » (non, pas une Formule 1 allons) pour montrer l’évenement, wouhou!!! la question qui me turlupine, c’est la raison de cette commercialisation.. est ce parce que le seuil légale en question à changé, ou alors que le Red Bull « à la Française » continent moins de Caféine?? va falloir creuser pour savoir, mais c’est loin d’être stupide comme question au fond ^^ Cela rappel le souvenir du jour où j’avais aussi croiser cette campagne Marketing, en Irlande, y’a presque 2 ans jour pour jour —> Red Bull
So today, i’ve seen in Paris a « Red bull car » (not a F1 c’mon) to show to the capital the event that it is supposed to create wouhou!!! I just wonder why is it now available.. is it because the legal percentage/mg of caffeine has been changed, or that, in France, we will have a « half time the caffeine the world has »?? hmpf… need to check that actually… This reminds me the day I saw one of this cars in Ireland, almost 2years ago dayish —> Red Bull
